This 1950's Mid-Century style home is located in Point Loma with beautiful views of the ocean and Coronado bridge. We wanted to respect the original architecture of the home, but change a few rooms and spaces to create the desirable open plan, modern and fun home for this young family. 

We utilized a healthy mix of custom high-end and mid-grade product throughout; created a functional custom Mahogany kitchen cabinetry to match the existing 1050's bookshelf, space planned areas for mudroom, powder bath and kids playroom; and gave the clients their dream primary bathroom.

 

Respecting the style and architectural boundaries we added Bold usage of color throughout the house with Terrazzo and tile. We also kept the original white brick fireplace and the 1950 door bell.
